PVC Waterstop/Hot Knife Blades

Also referred to as hot knives and PVC waterstop heaters, our products specialise in joining together PVC sheets in a swift and effective manner. When a blade heater is applied to two PVC sections, the heat will melt the PVC and they are butt welded together to create one reinforced sheet. It can also be used as a source of heat in softening, forming and folding thermoplastic materials.

At Hedin Heaters, we understand that no two applications are the same. This is why we’ll always tailor our service specifically to your requirements. Our blade heaters are made at 22’’ or 27’’ long and with a voltage of either 110V or 240V. These heaters can be fitted with 13A UK three-pin plugs; for building sites – yellow plugs for 110V and blue plugs for 240V; or with a variety of standard European plugs.

Rated to give a surface temperature of approximately 320°C, this can be reduced by means of an energy regulator or made to an alternative loading. The unit is well earthed, has a moulded rubber handle, and is supplied with 9ft of securely clamped, three core cable.

Every blade heater we manufacture is made to order, and because we supply to clients worldwide, we can ensure European plugs and other types of plug are in place, too.
